Corporate and Product Brochures
A set of 18 product brochures for Leeden Limited, carrying technical specifications for their welding products.
This was done for a pitching job. As the client had asked for photo montages, I played on the idea of education as building blocks. However montages tend to look dated, so rounded elements was proposed to modernize the overall look, such as a die-cut corner. I also used their corporate colours as the dark blue anchors and projects a formal feel, while the orange adds a vitality reinforcing the school as a youth institute.
An alternative design retaining the building block concept. Options were given to show how different sections can be segregated using the colour scheme.
Various design options given to the client, as he wanted to follow the elements in his other collaterals, such as the honeycomb motif and yellow slanted bar.
A guide to help adults find out about antibiotics and why they should follow through with the prescribed course. Medical jargon was copywrited into language that the man-in-the-street can understand.
This is a brochure for Roxy Holding's hotel in Shangri-La, Yunnan China. To add tabs for clear sections and avoid die-cutting, a tier-folding system is used so all the tabs are immediately visible when the brochure is closed.

My Philosophy
I find communication work challenging, as it takes proper research and thought to zero in on the most suitable way to communicate a message. Many creative agencies provide random copy/designs, which only fulfil the minimal purpose of being there for the client to use. But is the maximum potential reached?
Pixel Hippie aims to do adequate research and digestion, only proposing concepts that I truly believe will work for the client. My double-set of skills in both academic (copywriting) and aesthetics (design) will ensure that each communication solution is well-blended.
Take a look at my portfolio (click on the pics to enlarge them), and do drop me a note if you're keen to offer an opportunity for collaboration.
